Load the mags to capacity and leave them for a couple of weeks, then shoot them dry, do it again and when you try them next, load the extra round and all should be OK.

Make sure that the spring on the slide stop is under the locking block pin. It often is misplaced when working on a Glock.

I think you need to load your first round out of the magazine, not drop load into the chamber, then change magazines to a fully loaded 10 rounder. Bet this solves your problem.Arlin
